OUR STORY

Crown of the Alchemist (COTA) is a story borne of two hearts. The creators of the story, under the single pseudonym LYRAX, are a married couple with a passion for art and storytelling. The world began several years ago through the husband's passion for D&D and worldbuilding, and the wife sealed the deal with her writing and management skills. Through the years, the world of Tevus has grown into the story of COTA, and it will be a journey to remember.FUN FACT: COTA was originally destined to be a D&D campaign, but it never ran. The alchemy students you meet would have been the players. Instead, the story has been repurposed into a webtoon!The story of Gihon and Edelein is loosely inspired by how the Lyrax couple met, with several references to their relationship given a new and fresh fantasy twist. Several events in the story are inspired by real situations that the couple has gone through together (with less monsters, of course). Thus, the story of COTA is incredibly personal to the creators and it is cherished as thus. We are honored to share it with you!The COTA team is composed of three people:
